Today was a day to be proud of both our Club and Community. We we celebrated our Rotary Birthday on Zoom with a toast to the next 70 years.
And we celebrated our community with guest speaker Captain Peter Kim of the Salvation Army. With last year’s Annual Rotary Community Food Drive cancelled and the Christmas Kettles which also had challenges to make a target of $500,00 it might have been an even tougher year for those in need. And finally, the good news! With a little help from the Rotary Dream Home and our community reaching deeper into their pockets the final Christmas Kettles total was $770,000. Thank You Grande Prairie.
