The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie has cut their first COVID-19 Rapid Relief Fund cheques resulting from Rotary Dream Home tickets sales.. Earlier this month the Club announced during April 50% of Dream Home ticket sales will be targeted towards the Fund to aid local food banks in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cheques are being distributed this week in the following amounts to area food banks:
Grande Prairie $26,000.00
Beaverlodge $970.00
Fairview $940.00
Hythe $940.00
Sexsmith $1,280.00
Wembley $1,125.00
Dream Home tickets are available at 780-513-8887, 1-855-230-8887, or www.winadreamhome.ca Dream Home tickets are $100, 3 for $250 five for $400 or 8 for $600. There are also Cash Jackpot 50-50 tickets and Cash Cow Calendar tickets.
