Rotary members supported water and sanitation efforts long before it was an area of focus. In 1907, the Rotary Club of Chicago hosted a forum on public restrooms, known as “comfort stations.” As a result, comfort stations for men and women were built at the new City Hall building at LaSalle and Washington streets. ????????
