A nice note from our outbound exchange student, Emma’s host parents (originally sent to Emma’s mom and fellow-Rotarian, Elizabeth):
Hello Elizabeth,
A while ago that we have been in touch. But I read you from time to time on your FB.
Last night our Rotary Club, Emma´s host club, organized a big event. It was meant for all last year students from our small city (Turnhout) in high school. They could talk with “ Professionals “ to help them in making their choice for their future study career. We had about 80 different professions ( dentist, policeman, engineer, nurse, …..). About 250 students attended.
Emma and another inbound student (Isabela, Brazil) from the neighbour club had a small booth to promote the Youth Exchange programme. As usual, Emma did an excellent job. We really love her in our club. Great ( and happy ) girl. Congratulations. As usual, I made some pictures which I will again send you via We transfer. I promised this to her as Emma told me that you love pictures and that you are much better than her with the social media. She discovers some of my pictures thanks to you. Enjoy the photo´s and …. the weekend.
